SMHS Music Fundraising

There are two types of fundraising that we do as Music Boosters. One is general fundraising. These are funds that go into the general fund to help with the costs of the entire program which may not be covered by the Fair Share Donations. The other is Individual fundraising. These are funds that are applied to individual student’s fair share accounts. This is money that helps each student cover their annual obligation and, in excess of that, will go towards extra costs such as band shoes, and band trip costs.

Examples of general fundraisers are Julian Pies, dine-outs, coupon books, silent auctions and other general events. Individual fundraisers include all Scrip and Escrip fundraising and our annual Rehearse-a-thon.
