Mr. Radant - Assistant Director

Mr. Radant has taught at San Marcos High School since 2005.  Prior to his arrival at San Marcos, he taught at Cerritos High School, Orange Glen High School, Pacifica High School, Poway High School Rancho Bernardo High School, Rancho Cucamonga High School, Scripps Ranch High School, Upland High School, Vista High School, and Westview High School.  Currently, he also teaches at Mission Hills High School and works with the San Diego State University Indoor Marching Percussion Ensemble.  In addition to his service on those faculties, he also worked with the Esperanza Drum and Bugle Corps from 2002 through 2004 as a visual instructor including their Drum Corps International Division II championship year in 2003. 

Mr. Radant has been composing music and writing drill professionally since 2004 and has served as the visual designer for San Marcos High School since the spring of 2005.  He is a highly sought after instructor and designer for Marching Band, Indoor Marching Percussion, and Winterguard and his music has been performed internationally.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with an emphasis in Jazz from the University of California, San Diego, where we graduated summa cum laude.  Mr. Radant is a member of the National Association for Music Education (MENC).
